Step 1
Free consult call- During this brief conversation, we talk about your concerns, review relevant background information, and determine whether speech therapy may be beneficial. This is also a time to ask questions, learn about services, and discuss scheduling and options.
Step 2
If therapy is recommended, the next step is a comprehensive evaluation. The evaluation includes standardized testing, informal observations, and caregiver input to identify strengths, challenges, and functional communication needs. Results are reviewed with you, and individualized goals are created based on the patient’s specific needs and priorities.
Step 3
Following the evaluation, therapy sessions begin. Sessions are personalized, evidence-based, and designed to be engaging and functional. Progress is monitored regularly, goals are updated as needed, and families are encouraged to participate so skills can be supported and practiced beyond the therapy setting.
Payment and Insurance
Insurance Coverage
I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana insurance. If you are covered by a different insurance provider, I am happy to explore your benefits and determine whether coverage may be available for my services. My goal is to make the process as smooth and supportive as possible, so please feel free to reach out with your insurance information or any questions about coverage options
Out-of-Network Reimbursement
While I finalize my insurance contracts, I am happy to provide superbills upon request. A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the specific diagnostic and treatment codes insurance companies require to process out-of-network claims.
-
How it works: You pay for the session upfront, and then submit the superbill to your carrier.
-
Potential Benefits: Depending on your specific plan, you may receive partial reimbursement for the cost of services.
-
Pro Tip: I encourage families to contact their provider directly to verify their "out-of-network speech therapy benefits" before we begin.
I am always happy to answer questions and support you in navigating this process. My goal is to ensure you feel empowered and informed while we focus on what matters most: your or your child’s progress.
